The club consists of Board Members and Regular Full Members. We also have Inactive and Affiliate Members who have no voting power. In order to be successful at being a member of the club you need to pretty much fit in with the rest of the membership. Which basically means we need to vote you in. So the way the club has organized this process throughout the years is as follows:

You get invited to the club as a guest, either through a friend or through the Membership Chair, whose job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible throughout your stay at the club and through the process of becoming a member. During your stay at the club it would be your sponsor's and/or the Membership Chair's responsiblity to introduce you to as many Board Members and Full Members as possible. It is especially important that you meet Board Members because these members are the ones who vote you in. It is, however, also important that you meet Full or even Inactive Members as they have a lot to contribute in the joining process, for both you and the Board. Be aware that in some cases it could take you up to three weekends to come up as a guest before you would submit an application, but in many cases it can take only one weekend, especially if you pick a good weekend to come up, ie, when lots of members will also be up. You co-ordinate this with the Membership Chair or with your friends that invited you up as a guest.

Next, you submit your application with a $5 applications fee to the Membership Chair. The Membership Chair brings your application to the Board at the next Board Meeting, usually held on the third Tuesday of every month, except in the summer. Note: most money transactions with the club are done with checks and sometimes cash, no credit cards.

Once you are voted in, you will be notified as soon as possible, either by phone or email. At that point, you would send our treasurer payment for your membership due. After, and only after, the treasurer has received payment, the Lodge Chair issues a lodge key thru the mail. This signifies that you are now a Full Member and you now have the same rights as any other member of the cLub.

Your membership dues are prorated for how early, or late you have joined .

Dues are as follows;

$440 if you join between April and end of June. You get immediate access to the club for the summer and the following fiscal year, which starts in July.

$330 if you join anytime between July and end of January.

$220 if you join between February and end of March.

Note: If you are going to join our club, your first weekend's stay as a guest is on us! This means we would subtract your lodge fees for the first weekend you stayed at the club. Lodge fees are $15 per night.

So join the club by either contacting a friend that is already a member or contact the Membership Chair.
